How I use this method in practice

This page explains how I personally use IGMA RUTIN as part of

the flu-fighter method.

It is not medical advice — simply the routine that works for me.

Quick guide

Daily support
One level scoop (approx. 1250 mg) once a day — stay ready all year round.

At the first sign —

or even a suspicion something's coming
One heaped scoop (approx. 3300 mg), up to 3× a day

— for as long as symptoms last.

Measuring the dose
IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX comes with a measuring scoop.
As a simple reference:
1 level scoop ≈ half a level teaspoon
1 heaped scoop ≈ half a heaped teaspoon

The powder has a noticeably sour, citrusy taste

— it dissolves easily in water or any sweet drink.

Dosage for children

Ages 12 and above:

same as adults.
Ages 6–12:

one flat (level) scoop,

up to 3× a day at the first signs.
Dissolve in a sweet drink — juice, squash, or water with a little syrup to add sweetness.

The powder mixes well and the taste is easy to mask.
Ages under 6:

one flat scoop dissolved in a sweet drink, given in smaller portions.

The powder's natural citrusy flavour works well with something sweet

— even very young children tend to accept it without difficulty.

For young children, observe their response and consult a healthcare professional if unsure.

Always observe the child’s response

and reduce the amount if digestive discomfort appears.

Support option

a children’s throat spray or Strepsils Junior

Unlike medicines,

IGMA RUTIN ASCORBIC MAX

is a food supplement

and may be taken at any time

— during illness, at the first signs,

or even when no symptoms are present.

One important detail

— temperature control

In my experience, this method works best

when I avoid letting body temperature rise significantly.

If I start feeling overheated

— I remove excess layers, briefly ventilate, and avoid heavy blankets.

This is my approach.

Others may prefer traditional “sweating it out” methods

— I simply don’t mix the two.

The flu-fighter method is based

on early, controlled response.

It is not a replacement for professional medical care.
If symptoms are severe or persistent, consult a healthcare professional.

Common questions

about early flu symptoms

Can a scratchy throat be the first sign of flu?
Yes. In my experience, a scratchy throat is often one of the earliest warning signs before stronger symptoms appear.

What should you do at the first signs of flu?
The most important thing is to react early. In my routine I start systemic support immediately and combine it with local throat support.

Should you wait for fever before reacting?

No. In my experience it is better to act at the very first signs such as fatigue, weakness or throat irritation.

Method developed and refined over many years of personal use.
